Getting too big too fast!

It has been a busy couple of weeks around here! We are trying to move but the last week has had a lot of complications. We HOPEFULLY will be closing on our house in Winterville and the one we are trying to buy in Comer on Monday. David is doing great with all the changes. We are currently "camping" in our house. We are down to just beds, suitcases, TV and the computer. The next couple of weeks are going to be even busier trying to fix-up our new house. Since the last post David has been in the pool for the first time and went to his first 4th of July parade! He wasn't real sure what to think of the pool at first, but then he was ok in it. He is doing great with the "solid" foods. So far he has had cereal, carrots, peas and sweet potatoes. His favorite is the sweet potatoes of course! He is good eater. I think he is already 20 lbs. We are very blessed with David. He is the happiest baby I have ever seen. He is all smiles and he has the cutest smile. It just warms your heart. Here are some more new pictures.

What a Big Boy!

Yesterday we went to the doctor for David's 4 month check-up. He is 17 lbs 4.5 oz and 26 inches! They said he is in the 90th percentile in weight and length..so only 10% of babies his age are bigger! He is doing great this his head control, sitting up and standing with help, cooing, smiling, and rolling over. The doctor even said he could try "solid" foods. He had his first bowl of cereal today and it was cute. He wasn't quite sure what it was at first, but he did good trying to eat it. We also went to visit Papaw(Misty's Grandpa) today. David loves his Papaw! Here are some new pictures.

4 months old!

David Lane is already 4 months old! I can't believe how fast it has went! It seems like just yesterday I was in the hospital having him. Now he has reached 17 lbs! He already can hold all of his weight to stand up (he just hasn't got the whole bbalancing thing down yet) and can roll over. He is also a little chatterbox. He just babbles away and he has the cutest little smile! I realized I put pictures on Facebook and Myspace, but not everyone can view them so I wanted a place for everyone to get updates on David as he grows up. I will try to keep this page updated with pictures and little milestones as he reaches them.
